January 19, 2024

Dear Eisenhower Families,

It was great to have our students back and ready for learning after the unexpected snow days.  This week we began Access testing our EL students. We are extremely proud of how serious they are taking this assessment.  We want to recognize two of our amazing band and orchestra students for their participation in the Illinois Music Educators Association Festival Concert.  Congratuations Emily D and Ianina A.   They were also recognized at District 54s Board of Education meeting this past Thursday.

We hope everyone stays warm this weekend.

8th Grade Electives:

All 7th students received information in their science classes about how to make their elective choices for next year.  Elective choices can be made through Infinite Campus following these instructions: Directions for Elective Selection

Please speak with your child about his/her elective choices for next year.  Students will be asked to select two electives of their choice.  Every effort will be made to honor at least one of these choice requests; however there are a limited number of seats in each class.  Please be sure to submit elective choices in Infinite Campus by Friday, January 19, 2024.

8th Grade Parents Only:  Graduation Gown

It is hard to believe we are already in the process of planning for our 8th grade graduation.  At this time we do not have our graduation date as this will be decided sometime after spring break.  We are in the process of ordering graduation gowns as we want to make sure they are delivered on time.  Please complete the  Eisenhower Graduation 2024 Order Form by January 31, 2024.
