REMINDER: We have our monthly PTA meeting tomorrow (April 16), at 6:30 pm in the teacher’s lounge. The nominating committee will present the slate for next year. We’ll also discuss concessions and teacher appreciation.
See teachers selling pies and working behind the counter at McTeacher’s Night at the Hoffman Estates McDonald’s on Wednesday, April 3, between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Eisenhower Junior High PTA will receive 20 percent of the money with the slip (which is being sent home on April 3), which can be submitted at the counter or drive-thru.
Hoffman Estates McDonald’s is at 2270 W. Higgins Road, Barrington Square, Hoffman Estates.

The IKE PTA needs your help. A few hours of your time can make a huge difference at our school. We have listed the opportunities below. Please let us know if you are able to help in some way. If you also would like to hear more about events happening at IKE or would like to get more information about our PTA, please join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, Feb 19th at 6:30 PM. We’d love to see you!!
|Winter Parent/Teacher Conferences||Feb 14th||Donate food items for teachers and staff members during conferences. Items can be fruit, salads, dips and veggies, snack items and desserts. These can be dropped off at the school office by 3 pm on Feb 14th.|
|Teacher Appreciation||April||Donate food items for teachers and staff members during teacher appreciation week. More details to follow as it gets closer to the event.|
|Concession Stand||April 15th, 25th, 30th, May 6th||Will need 2 volunteers to run the concession stand during the track meet|
|Nominating Committee||TBD||Will need 2 PTA members to find a slate of people to fill the officers for our PTA for the 2019-2020 school year. Since most of our officers are returning, we will only need to fill 2 positions.|
|STC Scholarship||TBD||Will need 2-3 volunteers to review scholarship submission.|
We are offering another opportunity for students to have a hot lunch option for the second half of the school year. Please make sure to have your child hand in the form (click on the link below) and money to the office by January 25.
Our first meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, January 15 in the teacher’s lounge at 6:30pm. This will be a general meeting, where we will go over our budget for the remainder of the year and can vote on any changes that are necessary. We will need a quorum to vote.
We will also create a nominating committee for next year’s board members.
