8th Grade Graduation
As we look ahead to the second half of the year, we are already beginning preparations for our 8th grade graduation.
At this time, the graduation date has not yet been finalized. Once the date and location are confirmed, we will share that information with you as soon as possible.

Graduation Gowns and Medals:
At this time we are in the process of ordering graduation gowns and medals as we want to make sure they are delivered on time. Please complete the
Graduation Gowns Sign Up by February 6, 2026. Payments can be made via the School Store in your Parent Portal or by sending cash or check (
payable to Eisenhower Junior High) with your student to the school office.
Graduation Pictures: February 9th. Picture Retake: March 4th
End of Trimester 2 Dance
We are excited to celebrate our students’ success for the 2nd trimester on February 20. Our dance theme will be Garden Party. Permission slips will go home to eligible students on February 11. Permission slips are due on February 18.

📘Missing Assignment Criteria (January 12 – February 13)
- No more than 5 missing assignments
- 6 or more, you are ineligible
⭐ Behavior Criteria (January 12 – February 20):
- No major referrals
- No more than 3 minor infractions
- once you earn a 4th minor, you are ineligible

The Dentist Is Coming!
Once again, we are pleased to have Smile Illinois-Mobile Dentists return to District 54. The dental clinic will be held at Eisenhower Junior High– 800 West Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 Friday, January 23, 2026.
The Dental team will provide exams, teeth cleaning, fluoride treatment, and sealants.
If you are interested in having your child participate in the dental clinic, click the following link and complete the online form. Completed registration is due no later than January 13, 2026. No paper forms will be sent home. Here is the online registration link:

Steps to take for completing on line form:
1. Select language preference at the top of website next to phone number
2. Enter Eisenhower Junior High zip code: 60169
3. Scroll down and select Dwight D Eisenhower Jr High from list
4. Complete form and follow on line steps.
5. Submit when complete
NOTE: The State of Illinois requires all students entering 6th grade and those entering 9th grade to provide proof that they have seen the dentist within the past 18 months. If the Smile Illinois dentist examines your child, you have fulfilled this obligation. If you are taking your student to your family dentist instead, please have them complete the state required form and return to the school.

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedure
As the weather gets colder and snow becomes a factor during drop-off and pick-up times, please remember to follow all established procedures for student drop-off and pick-up. For the safety of our students, families, and staff, parents should not use the east side parking lot to drop off students. This area is designated for buses only. When dropping off students in the west parking lot, please make sure to pull your vehicle up to the front of the building when dropping off. This allows more cars to pull in and makes the process more efficient.
