kenneth young vaping survey

Kenneth Young Center has distributed advertisements throughout District 54 junior high schools to promote anti-drug messaging and raise awareness about the dangers of vaping.

During Inspire classes next week, students will participate in a brief survey to help determine whether these posters are having a positive impact and increasing awareness about anti-vaping efforts.

If you would prefer that your child not participate in this survey, please notify the school. Thank you for your continued support.

graduation 2026

This year we will be hosting our graduation at 6:30 pm  on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Fremd High School.

We do not issue tickets for graduation. We do ask you to arrive 30 minutes early,  so the students have time to line up and you have time to find your seats. There will be some seats available on the floor for people who cannot navigate the bleachers.

The last day of school for eighth-grade students will be that same day, May 21, 2026.  On this day, they will be rehearsing for graduation. ALL 8th GRADE STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON THIS DAY.

I will continue to share additional information this spring about graduation and other end-of-the-year celebrations, but for now we wanted you to have this date to mark on your calendar.

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedure

As the weather gets colder and snow becomes a factor during drop-off and pick-up times, please remember to follow all established procedures for student drop-off and pick-up. For the safety of our students, families, and staff, parents should not use the east side parking lot to drop off students. This area is designated for buses only. When dropping off students in the west parking lot, please make sure to pull your vehicle up to the front of the building when dropping off. This allows more cars to pull in and makes the process more efficient.

Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe.
