October 25th Save the Date:  Fall Dance 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Our student ambassadors have been busy planning for our fall dance on October 25.  Please note that students must be in good standing to participate in this evening event.  Here is the timeline and requirements to participate.

Behavior:  Criteria time frame September 25 to October 25

  • No Majors
  • No more than 3 minors (once you earn a 4th minor, you are ineligible)

Missing Assignments: Criteria time frame September 25-October 21

  • No more than 5 missing assignments 

Attendance:

It is important for students to be at school on time and ready for learning.  On time means that students are in their first period classrooms at 7:40 am.  Students that are dropped off late are marked as tardy to class.

Signs of Suicide:  

October 2st, students will learn about signs of suicide and what to do if they have thoughts of suicide or if they know of a friend.  During the past two decades, suicide has increased significantly.  Please view the attached letter in regards to the details of the presentation as well as resources to access at home.

Hot Lunch- DEADLINE order is TUESDAY at NOON!

Hot lunch orders will be through Marla’s Lunch. All orders must be in by the week before by Tuesday before noon. To order click here marlas lunch and use the code MISA378 (case sensitive),

Nacho Days- 1st and 3rd Friday of the month

 Students can bring $3 to school to purchase nachos during their lunch period and do not need to order ahead.

SAVE THE DATE: Our next PTA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday October 15th at 6:30pm. We will be meeting in the Teacher’s Lounge.  Enter through the front doors by the office and we will meet you there.
