Beginning April 1, 2019 a Hoffman Estates village ordinance took effect in regards to the traffic flow for student pick up and drop off procedures.  The Hoffman Estates police department is working in collaboration with the village to make sure the procedures are followed to ensure the safety of our students.

Between the hours of 7:00 am – 8:00 am and 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, drivers are not allowed to make a right turn into the west side parking lot.  A left turn is allowed only.  Please go north on to Carling Road and take a right onto Rosedale.  Follow Rosedale until you reach the parking lot.  For the safety of all students and to keep traffic from backing up in the neighborhood, we ask that all students be dropped off in the “Student Drop Off Area” located on the west side of the school. Please do not drop off or pick up students on Hassell Road.  This is extremely unsafe for students.  We want to ensure parents, family members, and drivers are aware of the new ordinance so they are not ticketed.  Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of Eisenhower students.

A few more parking lot or drop off guidelines:

• Please remember not to park or turn around in private driveways on Ashley Road or in the surrounding neighborhoods.
• The East parking lot and the main driveway are reserved for bus traffic only.  Please do not try to pull into either of these driveways to drop off.
• Parents may drop students off in the West parking lot.  This is a drop and go lane.  In order to keep cars moving parents may not park for an extended period of time in the driveway.  Also, in order to keep the traffic pattern moving, we ask that you not turn down Rosedale Lane to enter into the parking lot.  Instead, please proceed to Carling Road and then turn onto Rosedale Lane and enter the west parking lot entrance.  By doing this we can ensure that cars trying to leave the parking lot will not be blocked by cars trying to turn onto Rosedale to enter the parking lot.  A map is attached to help you visualize the traffic pattern that we are asking you to follow.
