It was a fantastic week at Eisenhower!
This week, our Student Ambassadors had the opportunity to visit the District Office and participate in leadership development with junior high ambassadors from across the district. They learned new leadership skills, shared ideas, and connected with other student leaders.
We are excited to see how our ambassadors bring their new ideas back to Eisenhower and help continue to strengthen our culture of belonging. We are proud of these student leaders for using their voices to make a positive difference in our school community!
Our 8th grade orchestra students also had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a combined concert with students from LP and Hoffman Estates High Schools. It was an exciting experience for our students to perform alongside high school musicians and showcase their hard work and dedication to music!
Many of our 8th grade students are eagerly anticipating their high school placement assessment on October 17.
Please remind your child to simply do their very best on the assessment. This is not an assessment that students can study or prepare for in the traditional sense. Instead, encourage them to come to Hoffman Estates High School feeling confident and ready to demonstrate what they know. Please view the attachment below for transportation information.
A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast can help students feel focused and ready for the day. Most importantly, remind your child to take their time, stay positive, and give their best effort!
We are proud of our Eagles and know they will represent Eisenhower well! 🦅
