McTeacher Night is Wednesday

Eisenhower Junior High PTA presents McTeacher’s Night, a night of friends, family and fun on Wednesday, April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at McDonald’s in Barrington Square.

Bring your family and friends on this special night to help raise money for Eisenhower Junior High PTA.

Teachers will be selling pies in a pie costume. Cash only for pies and tips.

Special appearance by mascot Eddie the Eagle.

Twenty-three Eisenhower teachers, staff members and administrators will be working at McDonald’s that night to help raise money. Come out and see your favorite teachers serve you food!

McDonald’s is at 2270 W. Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates.

Help needed for Teacher Appreciation Breakfast on May 1

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast – May 1
Help is needed for this event. Time 6:45 to 9 a.m.
Set up and serve food,and clean up after staff has finished breakfast.
Donations of food (hot and cold) are also needed.
Most importantly we need a coordinator to oversee donations and be onsite to help volunteers.

Summer scholarship applications due Wednesday

The Schaumburg Township Council of PTAs offers scholarships for summer programs/camps to District 54 students currently in kindergarten through seventh grade.

Volunteers needed for 8th-grade graduation picture day

Parent volunteers are needed to help with eighth-grade graduation pictures on Feb. 5.

Volunteers are needed from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on that Monday. Those times can be split into two shifts, 7:45-11 a.m. and 11 a.m.-2:15 p.m. if a full-day doesn’t work.

Pictures will be taken during gym classes and students will need help with the gowns (no caps).

Two of the four entrants, Mia D. and Vineeth Roshan P., will advance to the Northwest Cook Region/District 37 from Schaumburg Township Council of PTAs. Congratulations to all participants!
