One Week to Reflections Deadline!

Does your student enjoy art, music,and dance, or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections!! This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me” and calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts.Pick up submission guidelines and entry form today form the cafeteria and return by October 30, 2018 to the front office. Picture Retake Day

If your son or daughter was absent on Picture Day, on the morning of October 11 a Lifetouch photographer will be on campus for retakes.

PTA Meeting – UPDATE

The Tuesday, September 18 PTA board meeting has been changed to a general meeting to elect two new officers to the IKE PTA. We have parents who have stepped forward to be the new President and Treasurer. If you are a member, please join us in the Teacher’s Lounge at 6:30 pm to cast your vote. We will hold our regular board meeting following the election and you are welcome to attend.
Our goal is to have 14 members present to be able to vote.

2018 INFORMATION DAY

Information Day is Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. On Information Day, Eisenhower students will receive their schedules, PE uniforms and yearbooks may be purchased, consumable fees can be paid for or paid online if you currently have access to the Parent Portal. The best time to arrive is typically between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. as lines may be shorter. Parents must accompany their student to Information Day.

You can also join the Eisenhower PTA!
We need more parent volunteers. There will be a table staffed from 9 to 11 so you can learn more. There will be a table in the evening, times to be determined.
High priority needs:
1. President: Head up the PTA meeting once a month and attend the Schaumburg Township Council (STC) meeting once a month.
2. Hot lunch – once a month. (Need to be available during school hours)
3. Nacho day – once a month. (Need to be available during school hours)

Help needed for Teacher Appreciation Breakfast on May 1

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast – May 1
Help is needed for this event. Time 6:45 to 9 a.m.
Set up and serve food,and clean up after staff has finished breakfast.
Donations of food (hot and cold) are also needed.
Most importantly we need a coordinator to oversee donations and be onsite to help volunteers.
