Homework Policy
Homework that is meaningful and purposeful is an important part of the instructional program. The purpose of homework is to enrich or extend school instruction, and to give the student opportunities to maintain new learning through independent practice. It can be used to emphasize the importance of learning in settings other than a classroom. Students are asked to do their personal best on all work in a timely manner.
Students will be held accountable for all assignments. A zero will not be given on any assignment. Late work will be accepted and graded by teacher’s and/or team’s discretion of no less than 70% of the total grade. In addition, modifications and adaptations to homework will also be made at a teacher’s and/or team’s discretion as necessary.
